DOG DAYCARE
SCOUT’S HONOR DAY CAMP
Purposeful Days for Good Dogs
We don’t believe daycare should mean hours of uncontrolled excitement. Scout’s Honor Day Camp combines: PLAY • MOVE • THINK • CONNECT • REST. Depending on the dog, a day may include: social play, private play, enrichment, training reinforcement, and structured rest. We are not trying to send home the most exhausted dog. We want to send home a fulfilled dog.

First Day on the Trail – Complimentary Assessment
Before social participation, new dogs complete an assessment. This is not a test of whether your dog is “good.” It helps us determine what kind of experience is best for them. We consider temperament, confidence, play style, body language, and stress signals.
- Temperament & Confidence
- Play Style & Energy
- Body Language & Signals
- Handling & Recovery
- Ability to Disengage
Trail Buddies

Structured Rest & Decompression – Even adventurers need to recharge. Rest is not wasted daycare time; it allows dogs to decompress, lower arousal, and physically recover to return to activity refreshed.

Entry & Health Evaluation
To maintain our high standard of safety, all new K-9 members must complete a professional screening before joining the pack.

The Screening Journey
A comprehensive 60-minute intake session focusing on your pet's communication style, stress limits, and group suitability in our facility.

Clinical Health Protocols
We mandate current documentation for Rabies, DA2PP, and Bordetella. Continuous flea, tick, and parasite prevention is vital for all attendees.

Temperament Policy
We specialize in tailored care; however, daycare participants must display safe, non-confrontational behavior toward staff and other animals.
