The Scout’s Honor Promise philosophy

The Scout’s Honor Promise

Scout’s Honor was founded to provide a personalized alternative to traditional kennels. We combine professional training with high-level pet sitting and veterinary expertise to offer a comprehensive care system for your animal's development.

Our philosophy centers on individualized plans and clear communication. Whether it’s specialized medical support or advanced behavior modification, we ensure every pet parent has genuine peace of mind knowing their companion is in expert hands.

Our Founder & Head Trainer

Jinxx

Jinxx is a professional dog trainer and experienced veterinary professional with a lifelong passion for canine behavior, training, and communication.

Her introduction to working dogs began at a young age through her father’s work rescuing Rottweilers and exposure to Schutzhund, now known as IGP. That early foundation grew into years of hands-on experience with working dogs, dog sports, behavior modification, and companion dog training. After importing her first working-line German Shepherd, Jinxx became increasingly involved in canine sports and advanced training, including obedience, dock diving, frisbee, tracking, and other performance-based activities. Her passion for understanding why dogs behave the way they do led her to further study canine psychology, body language, learning theory, and behavior. Today, Jinxx specializes in individualized training for puppies, family dogs, and dogs struggling with fear, anxiety, reactivity, aggression, and other challenging behaviors. She believes there is no single training method that works for every dog. Instead, each training plan is tailored to the dog’s temperament, history, environment, goals, and family.

In addition to working directly with pet owners, Jinxx serves as a mentor trainer for both CATCH Canine Trainers Academy and Animal Behavior College, helping aspiring trainers develop practical skills and build successful careers in the industry. She is also an AKC Certified Evaluator and brings extensive veterinary and animal-care experience to her training practice. Her goal is simple: create practical, lasting changes that help dogs understand what is expected of them while giving owners the knowledge and confidence to communicate clearly with their dogs long after formal training ends.

Individualized Care for Every Soul

Every animal deserves to be treated as an individual.

There is no universal training method, daycare environment, or care routine that works for every pet. Good care begins with understanding the history, temperament, health, and needs of the unique animal in front of you. That philosophy is at the heart of everything we do at Scout’s Honor.
